Tyrone Mings joined Aston Villa on loan from Bournemouth on transfer deadline day.

Mings had only played in seven matches for Bournemouth this season.

On his debut for Villa against Reading, Mings was involved in a horrible incident.

The Villa centre-half, wearing the number 40, stamped on Nelson Oliveira’s face.

Mings appeared to land his studs in Oliveira’s kisser by accident.

The incident happened after Mings had intercepted the ball as Oliveira tried to break forward.

Oliveira tumbled to the turf after Mings made his challenge, Mings then stumbled, and he ended up planting his boot in his opponent’s face.

The Reading forward was left with a face gushing with blood after the coming together.

For the record Mings wasn’t booked.
