How Hatem Ben Arfa repeatedly trolled PSG after Rennes won the Coupe de France

Coupe de France: Rennes beat PSG

PSG suffered a major upset on Saturday night in the Coupe de France final against Rennes.

Rennes won the final 6-5 in the penalty shootout after a thrilling 120 minutes beforehand.

Brazilian stars Dani Alves and Neymar appeared to put PSG in firm control on the final with early goals.

However Rennes pulled one back thanks to a Presnel Kimpembe own goal before the break.

Mexer levelled for Rennes in the second half, before the eventual shootout win for the underdogs.

Kylian Mbappe was sent off for PSG towards the end of extra time.

Much of the post-game focus centred on Hatem Ben Arfa.

Prior to joining Rennes, Ben Afra was a PSG player.

It’s fair to say Ben Arfa didn’t enjoy the best of times in Paris. He spent much of his time frozen out of the first team squad.

After Rennes beat PSG on Saturday night, Ben Arfa lapped up his moment in the sun.

Ben Arfa joked the PSG should be used to such collapses after their recent Champions League history.

Moreover, many noticed the interaction between the Rennes playmaker and PSG’s President Nasser Al-Khelaifi after the match.

Ben Afra trolled the PSG powerbroker saying “you should never underestimate your opponent”.

Finally, Ben Arfa also offered some advise to Adrien Rabiot, who has been frozen out at PSG this season after refusing to agree a new contract with the club.
