Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko linked with PSG loan

Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko & PSG

According to’s Chelsea reporter, Nizaar Kinsella, Tiemoue Bakayoko could be on his way to PSG.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is currently in limbo at Stamford Bridge.

It seems fair to say that Bakayoko’s move from Monaco to Chelsea hasn’t panned out as the Blues would have liked.

Last season Bakayoko was farmed out on loan to AC Milan.

However, the French midfielder failed to shine with the Rossoneri, and Milan appear to have no interest in renewing the deal.

In something of a surprise twist, PSG are the latest club to be linked to Bakayoko. Readers are told:

Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up a year-long loan move with a possible purchase option for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

It is not known whether Bakayoko figures in new manager Frank Lampard’s plans, but he has now been linked with a return to his home country with the Ligue 1 champions, at least on an interim basis, with sources confirming to Goal that PSG are interested in landing him on a year-long deal.

What about Man United?

RMC Sport recently linked Bakayoko with a possible move to Man United this summer.

In an article which also reported that PSG were looking at the 24-year-old, it was claimed that Manchester United are also eyeing the Frenchman’s signature.

However, it currently seems hugely unlikely that Bakayoko will end up at Old Trafford in 2019-20.

St Patrick’s 0 – Chelsea 4

Tiemoue Bakayoko turned out for Chelsea on Saturday in the club’s second pre-season match of the summer.

After also featuring in a 1-1 draw against Bohemians, Bakayoko was second-half sub against St Patrick’s.

Olivier Giroud stole the headlines with a second-half brace for the Blues.

Mason Mount and Emerson scored for Chelsea in the first-half.
